[2010.08.03 - Ottawa,ON] Class of the League Fury Captain Named to PDL All-League Team Over the past two seasons the Fury have conceded only 18 goals in 32 regular season games and only two of those goals came at home. A tremendous amount of credit is due to their anchor on defence and their captain Alexis Pradié. In 2010 Pradié led the Fury to an 11-2-3 season scoring a career high 3 goals and adding an assists and was a constant rock on the Fury's defence. A defender with tremendous control and vision, he won every ball in the air and was always the most composed player on the field regardless of the score. On Tuesday, Alexis was given the tremendous honour of being named to the PDL All-League Team, becoming only the second Fury players to receive this honour.
[2010.08.02 - Ottawa, ON] From Back to Front Fury Striker and Defender Named to All Conference Team While the Ottawa Fury's run at a PDL Championship was cut short on Sunday there's no denying that it was a tremendously successful season as the Fury improved on their 2009 season this time reaching that Conference Finals only to lose another heart-breaker at home. There were several bright spots on this group of talented young players and on Monday, two were recognized by the league for their impressive year. Midfielder-turned-striker Will Beaugé and defender and captain Alexis Pradié were named to the All-Conference Team for the Eastern Conference.
[2010.08.01 - Ottawa, ON] Over and Out Fury Fall 3-2 to Reading United in Conference Championship Less than 24-hours after posting a thrilling 2-0 victory in the semi-finals, the Fury suffered a crushing 3-2 defeat at the hands of Reading United who will now move on to next weekend's PDL North American Championship Final. The Fury fell behind before half-time and despite some attempted heroics late in the game they came up short and their run at the PDL Championship was finished despite another successful season.

| Ottawa's Best Kept Soccer Secret
The Ottawa Fury Soccer Club offers the highest level of men's soccer available in the Ottawa area, and it's only going to get better! In 2005, the Fury first formed a team in the USL Premier Development League, the top U23 men's league in North America and a development ground for players aspiring to play in the professional ranks. In their inaugural season, this terrific startup finished just out of a playoff spot - not bad in a league of over sixty teams!
In 2008, the Fury Men provided the Ottawa area with some very exciting soccer, finishing with their best ever record at 9-4-3. An early season loss to the Newark Ironbound Express kept them out of the playoffs after a points tie, but the team posted some of their best numbers in club history. Goalkeepers Mike Drozd and Erik Lefebvre combined for five shutouts, while the team led the conference in goals on the strength of eleven different goal scorers. Forward Will Beauge was rewarded for his seven goals and four assists with a spot on the All Conference team.
As the team expands their achievements, many players use their experience with the Fury as a stepping stone to great success in other places. After two seasons with the Fury PDL team, Tyler Hemming made his debut with the Toronto FC Major League Soccer club in 2007. Will Beauge carried on his 2008 success, garnering awards as the CCAA and OCAA Player of the Year following a stellar fall season at Algonquin College. Florian DeCamps showed off his skills at the University of Dayton, twice being named Atlantic 10 Player of the Week during the 2008 fall season. Two other former players, Kofi Ilboudo and Roberto Gutierrez, were named to the Canadian Interuniversity Sport Men's soccer All-Canadian teams in 2007.

| The Fury Men compete in the USL Premier Development League; a league comprising 67 clubs spanning North America from coast to coast. In their inaugural year (2005) the Fury squad finished in third place in the New England Division, one short of a playoff position with a 9-7-0 record. In 2006 the team finished with a 7-6-3 record good for 2nd place in the Division. Despite a pleasing start (1-1-3) in 2007 the Fury fell to 7th in the Division with a 3-8-5 record. The 2008 squad returned with renewed optimism and despite a record of 6-1-3 down the stretch and recording their best season on record going 9-4-3 the team missed the playoffs on a tie-braker. The PDL provides top US and Canadian players under 23 years of age with the opportunity to perform in a professionalized setting during the summer months while maintaining their collegiate eligibility. The League acts as a development league for players seeking to play in the professional ranks.
