| The Fury Development Program is an elite-level soccer program which offers comprehensive development opportunities for boys and girls from ages U10 through U19, which are not currently available through local community club programs.
The Fury Youth Program, for elite players aged 13 through 17, adopts a player-centric development model to allow players to develop to their full potential and reach their goals of competing at the varsity, representative or professional levels.
Working within a professional environment, players will further develop their physical, technical, tactical and psychological skills and knowledge. Top-level competition through tournament, league and showcase play supports this development model.
The Fury plays in the USL Super Y-League, a North America wide league which pits some of the continents best youth players against each other in league play. The Fury fields teams at the U13 - U17 age groups in the North East Division and through success at the divisional level regularly qualifies teams for the North American Finals; five teams in 2009 alone.
In addition, players receive exposure through participation in prestigious, international events (e.g., Foyle Cup), continent-wide tournaments (e.g., US National Cup) and the highest level college showcases (e.g., Score at the Shore). In the past six years over 60 youth players have been awarded athletic scholarships to play as student-athletes at US colleges - a number no other club in Canada can best! Fury youth players like Christina Julien and Gina Pacheco have become regular members of the Canadian National teams while others such as Ed Edward (FC Dallas) and Mahir Hadziresic (FC Mlada Boleslav) have gone on to play professionally.
The Fury Youth program acts as a feeder program for the Fury's senior teams which play in the USL W-League and Premier Development League.

| North America's Premier Youth Soccer League
The Super Y-League (SYL) is designed to help in "professionalizing" player development in the United States and Canada and focuses on the most elite youth players.
Affiliated with US Soccer, the league is designed for talented youth players destined for varsity, professional and international careers. The league contains the youth academies of USL First Division, USL Second Division, Premier Development League, W-League, and Major League Soccer clubs, as well as many of the established premier youth clubs across North America.
The SYL provides the opportunity for players to compete in top-level soccer throughout the year. The SYL puts the spotlight on players during the playing season, through our North American Finals championship event, and through it's League-wide ODP Player Identifcation Program.
The 2010 campaign features over 800 teams within the U13 - U17 boys and girls age groups competing within 12 geographic divisions of the U.S. and Canada. The Ottawa Fury plays in the North East Division with teams representing Albany, Boston, Cape Cod, Northern Massachussetts, Vermont, Portland (Maine) and Seacoast (New Hampshire)
